Hi to all, It's been a while since our last newsletter. We had a fantastic time in New Zealand, Singapore and Australia. Big shout to Don Wong and Crew also Bench music, Alex you were priceless. Special shout to all the crowds .(P-A-R-T-Y).
Really looking forward to the summer as well as European dates, we are finally doing two of the British festivals with the Overproof Soundsystem. (Glade and Shambala). Big Thanks goes out to Rick and Stan at the "Lift" club Glossop Town Hall for the Overproof night. Some times people just go that extra inch to look after you and its really appreciated.
More releases on the way - G.Corp meets the mighty Tree are about to release another 10"vinyl "love of Jah"and "Dub of Jah" featuring the fantastic junior Sam. Southern hemisphere mix's are in production for the next Overproof 12". Mix's by Tiki and Fat Freddie's drop. Overproof are also doing their first ever date in Norway inside a mountain "brrrrrrrrrr". Just waiting for artwork (luv ya Ninety) for the new Overproof Soundsystem album, hope to have it out by the end of summer.
Ninety has been crazy busy putting together his third book for the sexy camera company Lomo. Messenger Douglas is working hard on his solo project under the whip of the General, Conrad Kelly. Can not wait to see the Polish crew again this time in Warsaw. Also our close friends, the 'Nuff Wish' boys have been at it again with their mash up series "Bangers r Mashed". Plate four is out and plate five is on its way, and from what we have heard they have made a very special funky sauce for both sides of this new serving.
Grizzly and Juggla kicked it off with an Overproof DJ set at Dojo in Bristol along side Daddy Gee and of course the Bristol Hi Fi featuring Queen B. Beautiful place beautiful people. Peace and positivity....G.Corp
| Two new releases for the Download shop this week. Both are tracks taken from the G. Corp meets the Mighty Tree album. The first “Perilous time” features the wonderful Messenger Douglas on vocals with an end section cut by the mighty Juggla. The 10” EP version contains 2 killer mix's by Vibronics, these heavy weight digi-dub cuts sound like they are straight out of Shaka's box. | |

| The second and latest of the releases is a cover of the classic sound boy tune “Love of Jah” Originally released on the Gorgon Records label in the late 70's early 80's such a rare 7” that the G. Corp crew decided to make their own version in order to be able to play it out. Vocal duties are taken on by the enigmatic Junior Sam. The EP also includes a massive Dub version that lets that crazy bass line breath and adds a new set of horns not on the original.
